CATastrophic Empty Cup card

We’re winding down to the end of the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – tomorrow is the final day! I kinda feel like this kitty today!

I think the dog days of summer are matched by the kitty days of winter, don’t you?! >^.^<

This is one of the few snowy wintry items in my crafty stash. I only have it because I got it as blog candy from the very generous Tina. (Thanks again!) I fell in love with this cute little digi from Sami Stamps at the Cat Lovers Hop and it’s still on available for free HERE, if you’d like to get it and see the rest of the adorable Cats in Cups set she has. I like using dark copies of a die behind a light copy to give it a shaded edge. The frame around the sentiment that I made up and printed out are just the ends of the die cut off and adhered together.

Here’s a better angle to see the Wink of Stella on the snowflakes. Just a pinch for a nice finishing touch!

Oh, and I was looking through my photo gallery and found a picture I had taken a few weeks ago in anticipation of National Cocoa Day, but forgot to share:

I also wanted to try using STENCILS to sprinkle powdered sugar over cocoa for designs, but I got mixed results. Mostly because the cocoa was too hot and melted the sugar…

Those Cafe Mocha m&ms are AMAZING, by the way! Although my favorite seasonal treat are still Ghirardelli peppermint bark squares!!
