Pastel Flowers Speak

Welcome back! Today’s whim was to finish a card that will fit challenges on two blogs, Power Poppy and The Cat’s Pajamas.

PowerPoppy’s Power & Spark Challenge is for a pop of pastel.

I don’t have any Power Poppy stamps yet, but they’re not required for the challenges and I’m hoping to score some of Marcella’s gorgeous flower stamps, starting with Orchids Rock… check ’em out here! Aren’t they lovely?!

So I decided to use The Cat’s Pajamas’ fab Lacy Posies and Five Petal Posies dies to make some embossed pastel tissue paper flowers using TCPTUES288 Color Challenge colors:

By embossing the tissue paper with the Lacy Posies die, the flowers have some lovely added dimension! If the other pictures I took turn out, when I get a chance, I’ll put together a step-by-step on how the flowers were done.
