Hello coffee, tea and chocolate lovers, and all you regulars and visitors, too! I’m glad to FINALLY be joining the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!!
If you’re a regular at the Coffee Lovers Blog Hops and haven’t been following me, you’re probably surprised that I’m just now posting my first project. Well, my hard drive crashed a few days ago and I finally borrowed a computer so I can get to posting a couple of the cards I had made. Needless to say, I probably won’t be able to post a card each day this time and I won’t do a blog candy post unless I have my computer back to follow up in a timely manner. (Maybe y’all’ll want to start a card writing campaign to my tech guy. lol!)
I’ve been attending My Favorite Things Camp Create summer camp online and am just now catching up on posting the cards I made, the next two with the Coffee Lovers Hop in mind.. In the craft tent on day 4, the theme was Delightful Die Cutting where they showed partial die cutting. I also kept in mind Virginia’s View board for her current challenge: All About Color.
Putting that all together, I came up with this card:
The yellow and blue balloons are partially die cut into the panel. The red balloon is popped up… I was trying to give the illusion of its transparency… it didn’t turn out like I thought, but it’s still sweet.
