Ok, so faux leather is cool (see previous post), but faux embossed leather is even better, right?!! You can find the instructions for this on Nichole Heady’s post on Papertrey Ink’s Stamp-a-Faire event. Here’s how mine turned out:
I like the inside sentiment:
A close-up of the ’embossing’ which is actually a couple of layers of die cuts covered with peach tissue paper and then inked:
Materials used:
- Papertrey Ink Big Hugs & Garden Gild dies
- Papertrey Ink Canyon Clay Cardstock
- Core’dinations cardstock: kraft, light brown & chocolate
- Misc. peach tissue paper
- Tsukineko Memento dye ink – Rich Cocoa
- Tsukineko Brilliance ink: Coffee Bean
- Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Ink: Gathered Twigs & Walnut Stain
- Papertrey Ink Dye Ink – Canyon Clay
- Staples School Glue
I’m joining in the following challenges, click on any one to find out how you can join the fun:
