There’s Nothing Better Than a True Friend Card

Thanks for coming back again for another post today!

Who remembers playing with these back in school?

Well, Papertrey Ink put one together with their colors as a fun way to help you pick color combinations. (You can download it for free HERE) Following their instructions, the color combo I came up with was:

Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise and Pure Poppy. Fortunately, I had cardstock in the Orange Zest and Summer Sunrise colors, so I just added some poppy red embossing and Copic coloring and came up with this sweet little gem:

Here’s a better try at catching the shiny Wink-of-Stella on the petals:

Materials used:

• Papertrey Ink In Bloom stamp set
• Papertrey Ink cardstock: Orange Zest & Summer Sunrise
• Hampton Arts red embossing powder
• Copic marker R39
• Kuretake Wink of Stella – clear
