Welcome back to day 4 of the Cat Lovers Hop! I can’t believe it’s flying by so quickly!
Today I have a purrfect inside-out Thank You card with these cute kitties from Art Impressions and some pieces from Graphic 45, two of our generous sponsors:
(Sorry, some day I will learn to resize my images for optimal uploading without losing resolution. sigh) And here’s the inside :
Art Impressions these cute little kitties so that they can be put together front and back. I cut under their paws before putting them together so they would stack better.
Can you tell they’re from the same litter? They remind me of the two hanging out on the Cat Town mug below:

For today’s funnies, I thought I’d give a nod to those who are both SciFi & Cat Lovers:
Anyone remember Data’s genius ‘Ode to Spot’?
Felis Catus -is your taxonomic nomenclature
An endothermic quadruped, carniverous by nature?
Your visual, olfactory, and auditory senses
Contribute to your hunting skills and natural defenses.
I find myself intrigued by your sub-vocal oscillations –
A singular development of cat communications
That obviates your basic hedonistic predilection
For a rhythmic stroking of your fur to demonstrate affection.
A tail is quite essential for your acrobatic talents –
You would not be so agile if you lacked its counterbalance.
And when not being utilized to aid in locomotion,
It often serves to illustrate the state of your emotion.
Oh, Spot, the complex levels of behavior you display
Denote a fairly well developed cognitive array.
And though you are not sentient, Spot, and do not comprehend…
I nonetheless consider you a true and valued friend!

For those of you who prefer more recent SciFi kitty refs:
DrWhoWithCats did a great job of photoshopping T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats into River Song’s hand! Although I’m fonder of the older cover – probably because they’re a cool stack of cats in hats:
Ok, I’ve rambled on so much that most of you now wish you had a time machine to go back and recapture the 5 minutes of your life that you just lost with this nonsense! I’ll probably be back later today with a second card.
Live long and pawspurr!
Allons-y!

Hello, D.Ann! This is adorable – inside and out! I love these cute kittens – I don’t have any like this with the back and front – so precious! I called Brian into the room so he could look at your Sci-Fi jokes and he was suitably impressed! I am really enjoying your kitty cards!

AWK!!! Those stacked kitties peeking through the window are cute enough but that back view has me hyperventilating!! Love the hexagon window cut out and peek-a-boo design. Your Copic coloring gives these little mischievous sweeties such personality. I’m a complete novice with alcohol markers and really need to check out some video tutorials soon so I can progress beyond opening the marker cap. Okay, I really need to stop giggling over those adorable feline acrobats and actually get something else done today but thanks for tickling my cat fancy this morning!

What an adorable card!!! Love the peek a boo design and the fronts and little hindsides of the kittens, too! So sweet how you have the one standing on top of the other. The vintage G45 images are wonderful, too, of course!
I’m really glad you had some Art Impressions cat stamps to showcase, since I don’t own any myself. They have the cleverest stamp designs. It will be a lucky cat lady who wins the Cat Lady stamps they donated as a prize!!!
Love the Star Trek and Dr Who memes. So fun with River Song’s diary being the old cat book!!
Thanks so much for linking up in the Cat Lovers Hop!!!
