You + Me = Coffee Time

Welcome back!

Today starts the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall Coffee Lovers Blog hop, so I thought this card – in fall orange and copper – would make a good introductory card:

Following social protocol, someone famous said something like: ‘You seem to be stressed – may I offer you a hot beverage?’ There have been plenty of friends with hot beverages in my stressful life lately, so I’m starting off with this simple card. I need to make a batch of them to thank each one of these dear friends!

There will be oodles of cards celebrating hot beverages in this week-long hop – Coffee, tea and cocoa, oh my! : )

I really like how that Tsukineko Brilliance pearlescent pigment ink shines. You can see it better in this picture:

Materials used:

• Spellbinders A2 Valiant Honor die
• Spellbinders Kitty Play dies
• Spellbinders Celebra’tions Cup for Two stamp set
• Tsukineko Brilliance pigment ink – Pearlescent Rust
• Versamark ink
• Hampton Arts embossing powder – metallic copper
• Dri-Mark pen – metallic green
• Uniball Gell Impact pen – gold
• Uniball Vision Elite pen – red
• Pebbles Inc. Chalks – brown
• Misc. cardstock and adhesive.
