Skidaway Island State Park, Georgia

Back again! Figure I’d take advantage now that I’m on a roll. : )

Our next stop was Skidaway Island State Park, Georgia.

You can hike out to the marshy deltas of one of the rivers that leads on out to the Atlantic.

There are gazillions of crabs out here… dozens per square yard…

and yes, some of them DO climb up trees…

There were several furry critters about, too…

Many parks have signs pointing out important things you might miss… this park doesn’t have a lot of signs, but here’s one of interest… I’ll let you draw your own conclusions! lol!!

We were going to camp here, but with temperatures over 100 degrees, we opted for an air conditioned cabin, instead. Good call!!

Turkeys and deer and bears… Oh, my! : )
