If No Answer, Pull Weeds! Sign & You Mean Something Card

Welcome back! Today’s whim is to show you a sign I made for my very dear friend who loves gardening:

Although the pearlescent blue and purple paints wash out in the pic, the embossing on the matching card stands out:

This was my first attempt at stamping with paints and at trying the chalkboard look on a card. I was happy to see my friend seemed pleased with them!

Since these are all Unity Stamp Company Stamps, this will be entered in the Friends with Flair contest they have. You can join the fun here: http://theunitystampco.blogspot.com/2015/04/fwf-time.html

  1. Oh, the sign is too funny! My husband would love it – he is forever trying to get me to weed his bonsai garden. lol Love your card, too, and the whole chalkboard look.

  2. What a wonderful “welcome” sign….lol…. I totally need some of these outside my house….perhaps with signs directing the guest to the most problematic of areas (like an arrow would be needed to point out the obvious!!! Ha!).
    Thanks for sharing on FWF!!!
